Our School Community believes PCS is a welcoming & Safe Community School with high

academic and behavior expectations for each student.  Each student is required to be

Responsible, Respectful, Safe and Prepared (RRSP)in our Positive Learning Environment.  We

will ALL work together to ensure each student experiences success.           

       

SCHOOL CLOSED- There will be NO SCHOOL for students for;

  • The full day, Monday, November 10th Professional Learning for Staff
  • The Full Day, Tuesday, November 11th, Remembrance Day
  • The full day, Friday, November 21st Professional Day for Staff

REPORT CARDS– will go home December 1st

BRRRR- The mornings are starting to be cold.  Please make sure your child is

dressed for the weather when they leave in the morning. Students should not

arrive before 8:10 am when the doors open.   

PUMPKIN Festival-WHAT A SUCCESS!  Thanks to all our families for

helping to make our Pumpkin Festival an overwhelming success despite the

weather!  We look forward to next year!

Allergy REMINDER– As noted previously- we have several serious allergies in

the building and as a result must be nut free, other classes have had notes

sent home about specific allergies in their classes. 

October Monarch of the Month- Our assembly will be held on Wednesday,

 November 13th at 11:30.  Parents are invited to join us.  Please use gym

entrance, doors will open at 11:20.  Please come and help us celebrate our

Monarchs!

Busy Monarchs!!  We have had so many of our classes heading out on

adventures and keeping busy with special events, here are a few:

  • PALS in the Park
  • In School Mentoring
  • Fire Safety Presentation
  • Fire Station Tour
  • Middle School Sports
  • Bus Safety presentations

  • Middle Sundae Recognition
